JW Proposal 5 (Re-introduce Community Pool)

Polkastarter previously have community allocation. it was a good idea, but i understand the reason why it got removed and now only pols pool is available. the problem with the previous community pool, was that the community lottery winner allocation is exactly the same as the pols lottery winner allocation (i'm talking individual allocation, not total pool allocation). so what do I suggest? bring back the community pool, allocate 1% of total allocation into the community pool, split it into 100-300 lottery winners. i calculated the last 10 IDOs have average allocation of USD 300000 , so 1% of it is USD 3000. if you split into 200 winners, each community winner will get allocation of USD 15. Is this too small? No. first of all, it's free. secondly, on average pols project give ROI of 20x within few weeks. that 15 dollar can multiply to 300 dollar in no time. What benefit will this bring to polkastarter? community pool is very very important. You open 200 slot for community allocation, you can expect 10000 & more participants fighting for that place. That means more social follower & exposure. Because in order to stand a chance to participate, those vying for community pool allocation would have to engage in gleam contest where they have to do all the social following tasks. This will boost polkastarter social scores on all platforms, as well as the respective IDO project itself too. Win-win situation for all parties. Just look at Polkafoundry community pool, it is a great example and implementation.

You can allocate like 5% of the total allocation to community and drop directly in their wallets instead of participation, I believe such small amount will not make much difference for you but will give a lot more exposure to Projects

Great proposal and we are already looking into this indeed for the exact reasons. Some concerns on our end however are obviously ETH fees for small allocations, but we can probably work around that and adjust community allocations based on the network the IDO is conducted on.
